Theatre. On Monday next the 25th instant will be performed
a comedy, (never acted here) call'd
The Provok'd Wife,
To which will be added (by particular desire) a farce called
Love-a-la-Mode, Between the Play and Farce, the favourite
song of "The Soldier Tired,"
The characters by gentlemen of the Army.
No money taken at the door, nor any admittance behind the
scenes.
Tickets to be purchased at the time of registering places
for the boxes, for which purpose the clerk will attend at
Mrs. Petit's, next door to the Theatre, from eleven o'clock
till two every day after the play is advertised.
Tickets for the pit and gallery to be had of Messrs.
Rivington and Gaine, Printers.
The doors will be opened at half an hour after five, and
to begin precisely at seven o'clock.
No children in laps will be admitted.
Gentlemen taking places for the boxes are desired to send
their servants at four o'clock, that they may be fixed
before the doors are opened.
