Peter Goelet at the Golden Key in Hanover-Square, has just
imported in the Edward, Captain Lawrence, from London, a
very large and neat assortment of cutlery, steel, bath,
pinchbeck and plated buckles, watch chains, strings and
keys, seals and main springs, gold scales and weights,
pewter and metal table and tea spoons, tobacco and snuff
boxes, bag and portmantau locks, dog collars, ivory and horn
combs, cork screws, gun hammers, gun flints, temple and
common spectacles, violin strings, crewet castors, plate
baskets, mouse and rat traps, brass, pewter and leather ink
pots, quills, all sorts of brushes . . . [8 lines listing
candlesticks, corks, backgammon tables, locks, leather
soles, writing paper, black pepper, and playing cards]
