A Comedy called the New-Inn written by the celebrated and
amiable Dr. Oliver Goldsmith author of the Roman and English
Histories, and Citizen of the World, the Traveller and
Deserted Village, was to be performed last month, at Covent-
Garden Theatre; this gentleman is well acquainted with
human nature, and possessed of all the requisites for
dramatic writing, which in the phrase of the late well
beloved Lord augur well of this same New-Inn.
