Mr. Beal, who has resided several years in the colony of Connecticut, and taught vocal musick at Yale College in New Haven, and at the other principal towns in that colony, open'd a school here on Tuesday night last. He is assisted by his son, who has a good voice and judgement. He intends to tarry here about three months, and 'tis thought he will meet with good encouragement, his skill in musick being well known. |
