London, July 13th. . .  Yesterday one Richard Izaaks was
committed to new prison, Clerkenwell, by the bench of
Justices, on suspicion of writing a threatening letter to
Edward Bulkley, Esq; of Great James Street, demanding the
sum of 40 guineas to be laid a foot under the middle tree
behind Fawkes's Theatre in Moorfields, with the mark of a
cross to be made in the said place, or else his house to be
set on fire. . .
