The Political Raree Show.
A correspondent passing through White-Chapel on Friday
observed a man, by his accent a German, exhibiting a half-
penny show to the children. . . [satirical comparisons of
political and military persons]
There you see the two trials at Portsmouth, every body at
fault, and no body to blame.
There you see the General in America doing nothing; and
there you see him in the House of Commons proving that he
has done every thing. . .
There you see Jemmy Twitcher, overseer of the poor of
Greenwich. . .
[signed] Caetera Desunt.
