London, Jan 17.  Last week, when several recruiting
officers, attended by some noblemen, paraded the town of
Perth, (in Scotland) to get volunteers for one of the new
Scotch regiments, a band of bagpipes went before them
through the streets, playing the tunes of "Over the Water to
Charley;" and "The King Shall Enjoy His Own Again;" which
the mob encored with huzzas.
