Madrid, 28th December, 1781.  The King penetrated with the
most lively sentiments of gratitude for the multiplied
blessings, which heaven has granted to his person and
monarchy, especially during the course of the year now about
to expire, has directed that Te Deum be sung, and a mass of
thanksgiving be celebrated in the chappel-royal and in all
the churches throughout his Kingdom.
