On Saturday, the 26th of August, died, at his house in
Providence Township, . . . Mr. Thomas Morgan, First
Lieutenant of a Company in said township.  On the Sunday
following his remains were conveyed to the Valley Baptist
Meeting to be interred, attended by his inconsolate wife,
and a numerous train of weeping relations, friends and
relations; a drum muffled beating a solemn march, fife
playing, attended by a file of musquetiers who fired three
vollies over his grave; . . .
