Observation of Frederick County, at the Court-House, on the
21st of June, 1775.

expert riflemen to join the Army near Boston, with rates of
pay]
A Captain - - - -  20 Dollars per month
A Lieutenant - - - 13 1/3
A Serjeant - - - -  8
A Corporal - - - -  7 1/3
A Drummer - - - - - 7 1/3
Privates - - - - - -6 2/3
That they find their own arms and cloaths; that each company
consist of a Captain, three Lieutenants, four Serjeants,
four Corporals, a Drummer, and sixty eight privates, . . .
