Ten pounds reward. Run-away from the subscribers, living in
Philadelphia, on the 19th of January, 1776, two indentured
servant men, viz. Richard Trusted, a native of Old England,
born in London, by trade a gun-stocker, 21 years of age,
about 5 feet 5 or 6 inches high, thin visaged, a little
pock-pitted, straight black hair, dark hazel eyes, his upper
teeth projected forward, is much given to company, and is a
great singer: Had on . . . [6 lines]
John Davis, also, a native of england, born near Bristol,
about 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high, well set, pretty much
pitted with the small pox, short hair curled: Had on . . .
[4 lines] is by trade a plain-maker, but may pass for a gun
stocker, has a down look, is very talkative, fond of drink
and a great singer. It is expected the above servants are
gone towards New York, York-Town, in Pennsylvania . . . [6
