Washington College, state of Maryland, April 29, 1783. The
anniversary, or chief quarterly meeting of the visitors and
governors of Washington College, agreeable to law and the
fundamental ordinances of the corporation, will be held at
the town of Chester on Tuesday, May 13th . . .
On the day following (viz. Wednesday 14th) the first
commencement for degrees in the arts and science, will be
held in the church at Chester-Town. . .. . On the evening of
the same day, Dr. Young's Tragedy of the Brothers will be
performed by the graduates, &c. . . .
