Theatre.  For a fortnight only.  By authority.  By the
American Company, at the theatre in Southwark, this evening,
the third of November, a tragedy called 
The Earl of Essex.
The Earl of Essex by Mr. Hallam,  The Earl of Southampton by
Mr. Henry,  Lord Burliegh by Mr. Morris,  Sir Walter Raliegh
by Mr. Hughes,  Lieutenant of the Tower by Mr. Woolls, 
Queen Elizabeth by Mrs. Morris,  Countess of Nottingham by
Miss Storer,  Countess of Rutland by Miss Hallam. Singing by
Mr. Woolls.
To which will be added, 
The Citizen.
The Citizen by Mr. Wall,  Old Philpot by Mr. Morris,  Young
Wilding by Mr. Hallam,  Beaufort by Mr. Woolls,  Sir Jasper
Wilding by Mr. Hughes,  Dapper by Mr. Douglass,  Corinna by
Miss Richardson,  Maria by Miss Wainwright, being her first
appearance these six years.
*Mr. Douglass assures the public, that the house will be
open for a fortnight only, as the company propose, about
that time, embarking for South-Carolina.
  The doors to be opened at four, and the play to begin
exactly at six o'clock.  No person, on any account
whatsoever, can possibly be admitted behind the scenes. 
Places in the boxes may be taken at the theatre.  Ladies and
gentlemen will please to send their servants at four
o'clock.
  Tickets (without which no person can be admitted) are sold
at the bar of the coffee-house, and at Mr. Bell's, in
Lombard-Street.
Boxes, 7s. 6d.  Pit, 5s.  Gallery, 3s.
