Theatre.  Not acted these five years, for the benefit of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry.  By authority.  By the American Company, at
the theatre in Southwark, this evening, the tenth of March,
a comedy, written by Shakespear, call'd 
The Merchant of Venice.
Anthonion (the merchant) by Mr. Hallam,  Bassanio by Mr.
Douglass,  Shylock by Mr. Henry,  Gratiano by Mr. Goodman, 
Lorenzo, with a song, by Mr. Woolls,  Duke by Mr. Byerley, 
Salanio by Mr. Wall,  Solarino by Mr. Dermot,  Tubal by Mr.
Robert,  Gobbo by Mr. Byerley,  Lancelot by Mr. Morris, 
Jessica by Miss Hallam,  Nerissa by Miss Richardson,  Portia
by Mrs. Morris. With entertainments, viz. Ellen a Roon by
Miss Storer,  Dancing by Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, not acted this season, 
Flora; or, Hob in the Well.
Hob by Mr. Hallam,  Friendly by Mr. Woolls,  Sir Thomas
Testy by Mr. Morris,  Old Hob by Mr. Byerley,  Dick by Mr.
Johnson,  Countrymen by Messrs. Wall, Roberts, Dermot, 
Hob's Mother by Miss Richardson,  Betty by Mrs. Henry, 
Flora by Miss Storer.
The doors to be open at four, and the play to begin exactly
at six o'clock.
No persons, on any account whatsoever, can possibly be
admitted behind the scenes.---Places in the boxes may be
taken at the theatre.---Ladies and gentlemen will please to
send their servants at four o'clock.  Tickets, without which
no person can be admitted, are sold at the bar of the
coffee-house.  Boxes 7s. 6d.  Pit 5s.  Gallery  3s. 
N.B.  Out-standing tickets of the company will be admitted.
