Theatre.  Not acted these five years.  By authority.  By the
American Company, at the theatre in Southwark, this evening,
February the 10th, a tragedy call'd 
Theodosius; or, The Force of Love.
With a view of the grand altar, as the first institution of
the Christian religion in Constantinople:  The vision of
Constantine the Great, the day before his battle with the
Christians, a bloody cross in the air with these letter in
golden characters, in hoc signo vinces, &c.
Varanes by Mr. Hallam,  Theodosius by Mr. Henry,  Marcian by
Mr. Douglass,  Leontine by Mr. Goodman,  Atticus (chief
priest) by Mr. Wooles,  Lucius by Mr. Parker,  Aranthes by
Mr. Wall,  Priests by Mr. Morris, and Mr. Byerley, 
Pulcheria by Mrs. Morris,  Marina by Miss Storer,  Flavilla
by Miss Richardson,  Julia by Mrs. Wall,  Athenais by Miss
Hallam.
After the play, a hornpipe by Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, 
The Honest Yorkshireman.
Gaylove by Mr. Woolls,  Sapscull by Mr. Wall,  Muckworm by
Mr. Morris,  Blunder by Mr. Parker,  Slango by Mr. Byerley, 
Cornbrush by Mrs. Morris,  Arabella by Miss Storer.
The doors to be opened at four, and the play to begin
exactly at six o'clock.  No persons, on any account
whatsoever, can possibly be admitted behind the scenes.---
Places in the boxes may be taken at the theatre.---Ladies
and gentlemen will please to send their servants at four
o'clock.  Tickets, without which no person can be admitted,
are sold at the bar of the coffee-house.  Boxes 7s. 6d.  Pit
5s.  Gallery  3s.
