Theatre.  By authority.  By the American Company, at the
theatre in Southwark, this evening, February the 3d, will be
presented a comedy, written by Shakespear, altered by
Dryden, called 
The Tempest; or, The Inchanted Island.
Prospero, Duke of Milan by Mr. Douglass,  Ferdinand, Prince
of Savoy by Mr. Hallam,  Alonzo, Duke of Savoy by Mr.
Byerley,  Antonion, Usurping Duke of Milan by Mr. Parker, 
Hypolito, Duke of Mantua a man that never saw a woman by Mr.
Wall,  Gonzalo, a nobleman of Savoy by Mr. Johnson, 
Stephano, master of the ship by Mr. Morris,  Trincalo, a
drunken boatswain by Mr. Henry,  Ventoso and Mustachio,
(sailors) by Mr. Johnson, and Mr. Woolls,  Ariel, an airy
spirit by Miss Storer,  Caliban and Sycarox, (monsters of
the isle) by Mr. Goodman, and Mr. Roberts,  Miranda and
Dorinda, women who never saw a man by Mrs. Henry, and Miss
Hallam.
To conclude with a grand masque of 
Neptune and Amphitrite.
Neptune by Mr. Woolls,  Amphitrite by Miss Storer. The
machinery and decorations entirely new. 
After the play dancing by Mr. Francis.
To which will be added, 
High Life Below Stairs.
Lovel by Mr. Hallam,  Freeman by Mr. Byerley,  Lord Duke by
Mr. Wall,  Sir Harry by Mr. Henry,  Philip by Mr. Morris, 
Coachman by Mr. Woolls,  Kingston by Mr. Parker,  Lady Bab
(with a song) by Miss Storer,  Lady Charlotte by Miss
Richardson,  Cook by Mrs. Wall,  Cloe by Mr. Roberts Kitty
by Mrs. Henry. With a mock minuet by Mr. and Mrs. Henry.
The doors to be opened at four, and the play to begin
exactly at six o'clock.  No persons, on any account
whatsoever, can possibly be admitted behind the scenes.---
Places in the boxes may be taken at the theatre.  Ladies and
gentlemen will please to send their servants at four
o'clock.  Tickets, without which no person can be admitted,
are sold at the bar of the coffee-house.  Boxes 7s. 6d.  Pit
5s.  Gallery  3s. . . .
