Theatre.  A new comedy:  Acted but once.  By authority, by
the American Company, at the Theatre at Southwark, this
evening, December the 9th, a new comedy, called 
The West Indian.

Stockwell by Mr. Morris,  Captain Dudley by Mr. Douglass, 
Charles Dudley by Mr. Hallam,  Fulmer by Mr. Byerley,

Woolls,  Lady Rusport by Mrs. Douglass,  Louisa Dudley by
Miss Storer,  Mrs. Fulmer by Mrs. Henry,  Lucy by Miss
Richardson,  Charlotte Rusport by Miss Hallam
To which will be added, 
The Devil to Pay; or, The Wives Metamorphos'd, 
Sir John Loverule (with "The Early Horn, ") by Mr. Woolls, 
Jobison by Mr. Henry,  Butler by Mr. Morris,  Doctor by Mr.
Byerley,  Coachman by Mr. Jonson,  Cook by Mr. Parker, 
Footman by Mr. Wall,  Blind Fidler by Mr. Roberts,  Lady
Loverule by Mrs. Harman,  Lucy by Miss Richardson,  Lettice
by Mrs. Wall,  Nell by Miss Storer.
The doors to be opened at four, and the play to begin
exactly at six o'clock.  No persons, on any account
whatsoever, can possibly be admitted behind the scenes.---
Places in the boxes may be taken at the theatre.---Ladies
and gentlemen will please to send their servants at four
o'clock. 
Tickets, without which no person can be admitted, are sold
at the bar of the coffee-house.  Boxes 7s. 6d.  Pit 5s.
