Yesterday Earl Percy and the Hon. Mr. Sandys were
unanimously elected members to represent the city and
liberty of Westminster in the ensuing parliament. The head-
quarters were at the Thatched-House tavern by St. James's
Street; from thence the two candidates, preceded by a band
of musick, flags, &c. and followed by a long train of
coaches, with vast numbers of the constituents on foot,
proceeded to the Hustings, under the portico of Covent-
Garden Church.
