Carlisle, July 2.  Run away last night from the subscriber,
two Negro men, the one named Cain, about 30 years of age,
about 5 feet 6 inches high; has with him two coats, . . . [5
lines, clothing taken]; plays on the fiddle, and it is
thought has one with him as it is missing, a beaver hat with
silver loop and button, a mannerly fellow, speaks good
English, but stammers a little and may pass himself for a
gentleman's waiting man.  The other named Phill, . . . [7
lines, terms, reward:] twenty shillings for each, if taken
in Cumberland county, or forty if taken out of said county,
with reasonable charges from [signed] John Steel, V.D.M. 
Robert Gibsgn [sic].
