Extract of a letter from Lisbon, July 30. . . On Thursday
last, being the day appointed by his excellency the governor
for a public rejoicing on occasion of the reduction of the
Havannah . . . At one o'clock the bells of the town were
rung, and continued ringing the remainder of the day . . . a
concert of musick performed by the gentlemen concerned in
the management of it . . .
