London. . . Sept. 7.  Yesterday eleven colour, taken from
the French at Louisbourg, were brought, under the conduct of
a party of Horse Guards . . . [11 lines describing the
progress, review by King, and arrival at St. Paul's where
they were met by officials and the choir, ] and as they
walked to the choir the following anthem, composed by the
late Dr. Crofts, was performed.
  "We will rejoice in thy salvation; and triumph in the name
of the Lord, our God. . . [5 more lines]"
  The colours were deposited in the Lord Mayor's vestry, and
the Anthem being finished, the Dean and Residentiaries took
their stalls in the choir, and Evening Service began, in the
course whereof the following Anthem, composed by Dr. Greene,
late organist and composer to the King, was sung.
  "The King shall rejoice in thy strength, O Lord . . . [15

marched back.]
