Extract of a letter from Amsterdam, Feb. 28. . . March 21. 
Last night died of a fever, at Leicester-House his royal
highness Frederick Prince of Wales, born Jan. 1706-7. . .
  Last night the right hon. the Lord North and Guilford went
to court to notify the death of his royal highness to his
majesty.
  On occasion of the above melancholly affair, neither music
nor drums were made use of at the mounting guard at St.
James's, this day.
