Philadelphia . . . August 24. . . Yesterday being the
anniversary of the birth of his most Christian majesty,
Lewis the 16th, the vessels in the harbour were decorated
with union flags--thirteen rounds were fired from many of
them, as also from the state artillery, at the coffee-house. 
The bells were rang; and in the evening the city was
entertained by a most brilliant display of fire-works . . .
