From the Public Ledger, July 26. Windsor, July 25.
At length the mighty business of the day is over, and
according to my promise, I now sit down to give you as
particular an account of the installation as I am able to
collect. [installation of new King]. . .
At the words of the offertory, let your light so shine, (the
organs playing) the officers of the wardrobe spread a carpet

obeisances, went up to the rails of the altar on the right
side, where he received from the yeoman a cushion, and
placed it for the sovereign to kneel upon.
