Hartford, Sept. 25.   We hear from Wallingford, that a
Society of Singing-Masters, who have voluntarily associated
with a view to encourage psalmody in this government, at
their last meeting there, agreed to meet at the south
meeting-house, in this town, the first Wednesday of October
next, at one o'clock in the afternoon, when several new
pieces of music will be performed, both with voices and
instruments, and a sermon preached on the occasion.
