London . . . Dec. 1 . . . The ball at court on Monday night,
in honour of the Princess Dowager of Wales's birthday, was
very brilliant and numerous. Their majesties came into the
ball-room about nine; when the ball was opened by the Duke
of York, and the Princess of Brunswick; minuets were danced
till eleven, when their majesties withdrew, and the rest of
the royal family and nobility retired about twelve o'clock.
