AN ALLEGORY.
Honesty, thrift, and chearfulness, undertook to keep house
together: . . .   But after a while, chearfulness getting a
little a-head, begins to carry mirth into extravagance, and
falls out with thrift, under pretence of being reduc'd to
short allowance:  She had invited a number of fiddlers,
merry fellows, dancers, &c. and demanded that extraordinary
cheer should be provided for them.
