Boston, November 21.  We have only time to inform the
public, that yesterday arrived here, under an escort of
American Light Dragoons, the Hon. John Hancock, Esq:
President of the American Congress, and first Major-General
of the militia of this state; by his coming into town sooner
than was expected he avoided some public marks of respect
which would otherwise have been paid him; his arrival was
made known by the ringing of the bells, . . .
