By Authority, By the American Company, at the Theatre in
Southwark, this evening, will be presented a comedy (written
by the ingenious Mr. Whitehead, Poet-Laureate to his
Majesty) not acted these five years, called 
The School for Lovers, or, The Man of the Town.

Sir John Dorilant, by Mr. Douglass. Bell[mour], by Mr. Wall. 
Steward, by Mr. Morris.  Lady Beverly, by Mrs. Morris. 
Araminta, by Mrs. Henry.  Catlin, by Miss Hallam. 
To which will be added, by particular desire, 
The Padlock. 
Mu[ngo] by Mr. Hallam.  Don Diego, by Mr. Woolls.  Leander,
by Mr. Wall.  Ursala, by Mrs. Morris.  Le[onora] by Miss
Hallam.
The doors to be opened at four, and the play to begin
exactly at six o'clock. No person, on any account
whatsoever, can possibly be admitted behind the scenes. 
Places in the boxes may be taken in the Theatre. Ladies and
gentlemen will please send their servants at four o'clock.
Tickets, without which no person can be admitted, are sold
at the bar of the Coffee-house.  Boxes 7s.6d. Pit 5s.
