Princetown, September 25. Yesterday was held in the public
library of the college in this place. . . [25 lines of

This day the anniversary commencement of the College of New-
Jersey was held in the church here.  After the usual
procession, the business of the day was introduced with
prayer by the President, and a piece of vocal music,
performed by the students. . . [13 lines] And the business
of the forenoon was concluded with an anthem by the
students.
5. At three o'clock, the audience again assembled; and,
after singing by the students, . . . [7 lines]
7. A poem, on "The Rising Glory of America, " was spoken by
Mr. Brackinridge, . . . [4 lines]
