Quebec, July 3. . . [19 lines] The same day, at 11 o'clock
at night, arrived in this city from London, on board the
Commerce, Captain Johnson, Mr. Briand, Bishop of Quebec,
from the Roman Catholicks, who manifested on this occasion
all their affection for what concerns their religion.  On
the day following, at 5 o'clock in the morning, the bells of
all their churches announced his arrival to the whole city .
