The loss of the British troops, who had the principal share
in this affair [in attack on Valencia d'Alcantara], is
luckily but inconsiderable; and consists in Lieut. Burk, of
Col. Frederick's, one serjeant, and three private, killed;
two serjeants, one drummer, and 18 private wounded; ten
horses killed.
