On Monday last the brave Major Rogers, with Captain Breme,
arrived here from his long and fatiguing march to Detroit,
where he was sent . . . to take possession of the French
forts there. . . [16 lines]  As soon as the arrival of this
gentleman was known, the people here, to testify their sense
of his distinguished merit, immediately ordered the bells to
be rung, and shewed him other marks of respect. ---Yesterday
he set off for New-York.
