By Permission, and by particular desire, At the Theatre, on
Society-hill,
On Friday evening, the twenty-first instant, will be
presented a comedy, written by Captain Farquhar, called
The Recruiting Officer.
Justice Ballance, Mr. Reed; Captain Plume, Mr. Hallam;
Captain Brazen, Mr. Harman; Mr. Worthy, Mr. Morris; Serjeant
Kite, Mr. Douglass; Mr. Scale, Mr. Scott; Constable, Mr.
Allen; Recruits by Messieurs Tomlinson and Allen; Bullock,
Mr. Tomlinson. Melinda, Mrs. Harman; Sylvia, Mrs. Douglass;
Rose, Mrs. Love; Lucy, Mrs. Tomlinson.  The prologue will be
spoken by Mr. Hallam.
To which will be added, a farce, called
The Stage Coach.
Tickets to be had of Mr. Dunlap.
