Philadelphia, August 16, 1759.  At Williams's School, in
Second-street, four doors from Mr. Stre en's, the watch-
maker, at the corner of Chestnut-street, on Tuesday the 21st
instant, in the Long Room, formerly used for a Dancing room,
will be opened a separate school for young ladies, under the
chief management of a tutoress, who will teach them all the
various branches of needlework . . .
