By Permission, At the Theatre, on Society-hill, On Friday
evening, the tenth instant, will be presented a tragedy,
called,
Theodosius, or the Force of Love.
Theodosius, Mr. Reed; Varanes, Mr. Allen, Marcian, Mr.
Hallam; Atticus, Mr. Harman; Lucius, Mr. Douglass, Aranthes,
Mr. Morris. Pulcheria, Mrs. Harman; Athenais, Mrs. Douglass;
Marina, Mrs. Tomlinson; Flavilla, Mrs. Love.
In which will be represented, a grand view of the Temple;
the transparent altar-piece, shewing the vision of
Constantine the Great, before his battle against the
Christians; the bloody cross in the air; inscribed about in
golden character, In Hoc Signo Vinces.  The decorations are
intirely new and proper.
To which will be added, a farce, called
Lethe, or Aesop in the Shades. 
Tickets to be had of Mr. Dunlap.
