New-York, March 5, 1759.  All gentlemen volunteers, who are
inclineable to serve his Majesty, by inlisting in the
service of the Province of New-York, on the present
expedition against Canada, are desired to repair to the City
of New-York . . . and enter into immediate pay; private
soldiers at one shilling and three-pence per day; corporals
and drummers at one shilling and six-pence per day; . . .
[plus subsistence, bounty, and clothing.]
