Boston, June 2. . . Saturday last a soldier in the camp on
Noddle's Island, received 250 lashes, and was afterwards
drummed out of the regiment, with a halter about his neck
(agreeable to the sentence of a court-martial) for striking
and otherwise abusing his officer, &c.
