For the entertainment of the curious, Mr. Kinnersley
proposes to exhibit, in the Easter holidays, in one of the
chambers of the Academy, a course of experiments on that new
branch of natural philosophy, called electricity; to be
accompanied with methodical lectures on the nature and
properties of that wonderful element. . . [2 lectures, with
20 and 23 experiments respectively, experiment number 19 in
the first lecture is] Eight musical bells rung by an
electrified phial of water. [Experiment number 22 in the
second lecture is:] A wheel of a curious machine turned
round by lightening, and playing variety of tunes on eight
musical bells.
