Extract of a letter from the Hague, dated November 1. At
length what has been for some time past foretold is come to
pass; and the Queen Dowager of Spain in acting the grand
part for which she appears to have been design'd. The
Empress of Russia, and the Empress Queen of Hungary, do not
act a less remarkable part upon the great theatre of the
world: But this Dowager Queen in the most indefatigable in
her endeavours to put in execution her political projects,
which tend to bring yet another crown into her house, and if
she lives, perhaps to reunite the crowns of Spain and
Portugal. . . [5 lines] What events may not this produce?
What a theatre does it open for this politick Queen to act
upon! . . . [15 lines]
