We have advice by letters from Falmouth in Casco-bay, of the
2d and 4th instant, that the transports were all got in
well, and the soldiers all in health: That they there met
with forty-two Indians, . . . [12 lines, Governor forged a
treaty and obtained permission to build a fort on the
Kennebeck River.] That the Indians discover a very
peaceable temper, and seem very desirous of continuing in
friendship with the English: That on the 3d instant the
said Indians has a great dance, and the next morning
