Run away from the subscriber, living in Patapsco, Maryland,
the four following servants, viz . . . [5 lines]
  Another named Thomas Brown, a brick-maker, went away in
December last, but was since taken up, on Potomack, and got
away before he was brought home; he is about 5 feet 4 inches
high, about 50 years of age, has black hair, and some grey: 
Had on a brown jacket, old check shirt, leather breeches,
and Negro's shoes; has been on the expedition to Cuba, and
talks much of it, loves drink, sings, and is very active and
nimble.
   Another a convict, named Edward Mitchem, went away in
March last, has been in the country some time, aged about 40
years, is a schoolmaster in the country, and where he is not
known will set up for a parson or preacher, when he gathers
people together to hear him read or sing psalms; is about 5
feet six inches high:  Had on a brown jacket, ozenbrigs
shirt, worsted cap, leather breeches, and stole a pair of
channel pumps, but may have sold them, as he had other
shoes.
   . . . [7 lines]  Whoever takes up all or any of said
servants, and brings them to the subscriber, shall have six
pounds current money for each, paid by [signed] John
Metcalfe.
