Extract of a private letter from Venice, February 23.
An affair happened here, which shews to how great a degree
the human mind may be corrupted. . . [lovers Panizo and
Angelica were] seen by neighbours to go out together to a
ball, supped afterwards at a publick house, . . . [she is
found dead next morning, and he absconded.]
