Last week a noted plateworker being very much in liquor, went into a court in Foster-lane, where he was induced by friends to sing and dance 'til he could hardly stand, being so drunk; but at last a large glass of geneva was given to him, and soon after that another, on which he dropt down; but compassion being taken on him, he was dragg'd into the boghouse, and left to expire by himself, which he did in a few minutes. |
