The following lines were wrote by a Gentleman on his reading
Barclay's Apology (who before had entertain'd a mean opinion
of the people called Quakers, and their principles) return'd
with the same book to a friend who had lent it to him.
  For Barclay's learned Apology is due,
  My hearty thanks and gratitude to you:
  The more I read, the more my wonder's rais'd,
  I view'd him often, and as often prais'd:
