New York, February 16. . . Captain Witter, who arrived here
on Thursday last from Coracoa, reports, that a ship was
arrived there from Holland, with advice that the Prince of
Orange was made Stadt-holder; . . . Capt. Witter touched at
Turk's-Island, and has brought with him the goods taken out
of a French store-ship designed for Canada, by the Castor,
Pollux and Tryton Privateers, consisting of a large parcel
of cordage, guns, swords, cutlasses, soldiers-coats, shoes,
hats, frocks, field coppers, church bells, soap, oyl, and
sundry other goods.
