From the St. James's Evening Post, September 19. A Letter
from Aleppo, dated May 2. O.S. . . [Gruesome description of
civil war in Persia; Shah, foreseeing his own demise, builds
a tomb.] He has appointed 12 Molla's or priests, who are to
be relieved by each other thrice in 24 hours; so that four
are always to be on duty, who are to hold wax candles and
lamps filled with perfum'd oil in their hands, while they
sing hymns full of his praises.
