Run away from the subscriber, living near Tulley's neck,
Queen Anns County, Maryland, on Sunday the 10th of October,
a servant man named William Jones, he is a short well set
man, supposed to be about 30 years of age, swarthy
complexion, pitted with the small pox, and double eye-teeth,
short black hair, over which he sometimes wore an old wigg,
of a yellowish colour, and an old castor hat: Had on when
he went away, an old blue coat with metal buttons, blue
breeches, a pair of old white yarn hose, and a pair of old
shoes; he is by trade a rug weaver, and also pretends to be
a shoemaker, and can play well upon the violin. Whoever
takes up the said runaway, and brings him to the subscriber,
or secures him and give notice thereto, so that thereby he
gets him again, shall receive honourable satisfaction,
besides what the law allows by [signed] John Roe.
