Dublin, Dec. 1. Yesterday being the anniversary of the
birth of that glorious patriot Dr. Swift, (who was born in
the parish of St. Warburgh's Dublin) when he enter'd into
the 75th year of his age, the same was observ'd here with
the greatest demonstrations of joy. The morning was usher'd
in with ringing of bells: at noon several persons of
distinction and fortune paid their compliments to him: in
the evening there were illuminations and fireworks in many
places of the city.
