Modena, Jan 3. N.S. The prospect of the approaching
tranquility of Italy has caused such an uncommon joy in the
Modenese, that the nobility, to testify their sense of so
great a blessing, have established an opera, for singing the
praises due to the Peace-makers. The Imperial troops in the
Romagna have possessed themselves of the city of Fayenca, so
well known by the fine Earthen-ware that is made there.
